2000년부터 단국대학교 내분비대사내과학교실에서 내분비 및 대사학, 갑상선학의 교육 및 연구를 이어오고 있다 주요 연구관심분야는 자가면역성 갑상선질환의 병인과 임상적 특징에 관한 고찰, 갑상선암의 임상적 고찰, 당뇨 및 비만 환자의 임상적 관리 및 교육 등이다.
